We are located on a pristine stretch of Pacific Ocean coastline. Carillo is still a place unaffected by and not attached to the outside world. Slow paced and honest, a little strip of paradise dotted with small local restaurants and street venders.
Eating and drinking options are plentiful within easy strolling moments from your door. At low tide, guests can walk around the headland “El Indio” and check out the beach next door. At just 1 minute walking from the stunning beach Carrillo, La Caravana is a project of remodeling vintage campers creating its own unique space with extra privacy and lots of green gardens for the best comfort of its guests. La Caravana is the perfect destination for travelers, couples, families, surfers and those simply seeking a slice of paradise.
GENERAL INFORMATION
If we are not around, for sure we are available on the phone If you need any help. We offer free WiFi throughout the property. Carrillo is still a remote tropical destination and has no ATMs. The closest ATM to withdraw money is in Samara. PLEASE BE AWARE – La Caravana has no credit card facilities, we accept only Cash payment. As we have a self check-in system, we will provide you with all the instructions the day before arrival. Campers are secured by key lock and we kindly ask you to be as careful with your valuables as you normally are while traveling. Inside of the caravan you can freely use the security safety box.

OUR CAMPERS
There is something very special and adventurous about stay in a vintage camper. Even though they are stationary, it feels like being drifted away at any moment for an unforgettable traveler’s experience. A cozy, creative, minimalistic remodeled camper can be the perfect choice included in your trip to Costa Rica. Tiny living doesn’t mean space limits, but being inspired by bold design, smart hacks and spending more time in connection with nature.
All three campers are placed at the back of the property with full privacy. Space of each caravan is fenced to create a very unique private atmosphere gently blended with costa rican nature. You would hear and see all kinds of wild animals on a daily basis.
AIRSTREAM OVERLANDER
The interior of the camper provides absolute comfort like a small apartment. By the entrance is situated a cozy queen size bed with tons of pillows and fluffy European style duvet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances that are needed to prepare even more complex meals If you like to. Space flows smoothly into the relax area with a sofa bed, wardrobe and work desk.
As we like to have diversity and options, there is a pergola for chilling with plenty of seats and bbq which guarantees the right vacation mood.
Airstream has a private outdoor porch with various comfortable seatings, hammock, chilling area and dining table.
Part of this private Airstream area is a cactus garden behind the camper which was created for you to enjoy these strange, interesting and amazing plants. Path through the garden leads to an extra shower and toilet for the best convenience.
AVION IMPERIAL
This camper was inspired by tiny living and minimalistic space. It is very spacious as we situated the bathroom out of the camper (underneath the same roof) and it gave us more game to play with the design.
When you enter the caravan, it feels like entering somebody’s cozy studio. Space is very open, light and breezy. Door is facing a comfy sofa which can accommodate 2 people. On the side of this chill area is located a desk with spacious cabinets which provides the nicest working experience with jungle view. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes all appliances to prepare any kind of meal you are craving for. This caravan has a cute barn door leading to a fully private bedroom with queen size bed, enough storage for your belongings and little “beauty” corner for your daily routines.
The porch has not only a dining area, but also a hammock, lazy chairs and another corner with cushions, perfect for reading a book or just observing a mini cactus garden next to the pergola with bbq facilities.
AIRSTREAM ARGOSY
Our iconic Airstream Argosy camper is placed at front of the property with full privacy, just few steps away from dipping yourself in the waves. Space was very thoughtfully designed to meet all your needs and in the same time feel as comfortable like at home.
Argosy has private outdoor porch with comfortable various seatings, chilling area, hammock and dining table and all of it is surrounded by cactus garden where you can observe these remarkable plants.
The interior of the camper provides absolute comfort. In the back of the camper is situated cozy queen size bed with comfortable beddings, air condition and closet. The kitchen is fully equipped to be able to prepare any type of delicious meal. Space flows smoothly into the relax area with two big lazy chairs and work desk.
At the terrace passing little cute bridge through agave garden is located a bathroom with toilet and hot shower.
You can also fancy an outside refreshing shower which is part of the garden. As we like to have varieties, there is outdoor seating corner accompanied by unique handmade bbq which shouldn’t be skipped on any holidays. All these amenities are privately just for you and your traveling partners.
